One of our favorite things about real estate is the stories and life milestones we get to share when helping families buy and sell property. The family living in this mid-century modern condo in Ladera Heights contacted us because they were growing. The three bedroom condo had served them well when it was just mom and dad. But, after having their first baby, they realized that space, proximity to family, and other factors meant they had out grown 58th Pl. It was time to sell.
Marketing and showings required a bit of extra guile as we entered the market right as COVID19 was unfolding and the state of California was shutting down. We had a baby's health to consider and a mischievous cat which loved nothing more than sprinting out open doors. We used drone footage, virtual tours, and carefully controlled access to qualified buyers, as well as our 10 step marketing process to get the property sold.
During the course of the listing we received interest from an array of buyers, but ultimately it sold to someone who was downsizing. The size and location of the condo were just what the buyer imagined when selling her larger property. The home changed ownership from a growing family looking to upgrade to someone looking to downsize. The circle of life!
